Episode 101
We ran across the Bratcher Family through the publication Ride Oklahoma. The story was incredibly moving and was an obvious choice for us. During the interview with Brian and Sandy the story grew. This boy's life has everything to do with creativity. Everything about Kyle and those around him are creative. What began as a remote dirt bike story became a look into the life of Kyle and his family and those around them.
Some stories are just stories. You try to tell them throughout the day and when it’s time to go home you “turn them off.” This experience was very different. You will never meet more genuine people than the Bratcher family. You will never meet anyone as resourceful and passionate as Benny Cruz, one of Kyle’s therapists, and you will never meet anyone as giving as Tony Baustert from T-Fab Custom Metal Fabrication.
The groundbreaking research being done right here in Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, is unbelievably exciting. A potential cure for gliomas and brain tumors with something as simple and un-invasive as a pill, it boggles the mind. They are still a few years away but how exciting to know that it is right here, in our state that these advancements are taking place.
We truly are the State of Creativity.

I wanted to say T.A.S.K. is really a great program not only are we teaching kids but also involved in their lives, to better the community. This is the way you would be able to help troubled kids. When you have a gang member in your family not only do you want to help SAVE kids from the streets also to encourge them the the gang life is NOT the answer. Our Pastor Theodis Manning is doing a wonderful job. Big koodoos for TASK.. Keep up the good work.
